Italian Baja 2013 - Speedbrain Race Report

Speedbrain's team mechanic Mauro Sant used the chance to ride himself the Speedbrain 450 Rally bike at his home race, the three-day Baja Italy 2013 last weekend.

He finished a very pleasant 4th in the FIM Baja World Cup class, with a flawless bike performance and a total time of 3:41 hrs, only three minutes away from the podium and third-placed Alessandro Botturi.

After competing successfully together on the rally scene for several years, BMW Motorrad and Speedbrain GmbH are parting ways by mutual consent.

IMOT 2013 - Where is the Husky?

Fango e Deserto was at IMOT, the international motorbike exposition that takes place every year in Munich. The fair is near BMW and so it's always a good opportunity to see the brand new bavarian motorbikes. In the off-road segment the most important expositors were this year KTM, Beta and the Japs.

E' ufficiale: BMW vende Husqvarna alla Pierer Industrie AG

A quanto pare tedeschi ed austriaci sono riusciti a portare avanti le trattative senza far trapelare delle informazioni ai giornali. Vi avevamo anticipato appena ieri i primi rumors e adesso arriva già il comunicato ufficiale: BMW ha venduto l'Husqvarna. L'acquirente è la la Pierer Industrie AG, società facente capo al CEO e presidente di KTM, Stefan Pierer. Le due parti si sono accordate per non rivelare i dettagli economici, possiamo solo ricordarvi che nel 2007 BMW acquistò la casa varesina dalla MV Augusta per 93 milioni di euro.
