Lierop to host the last MXGP of the season

VALKENSWAARD (The Netherlands), 1 April 2013 – During the Grand Prix of the Netherlands it has been made official that the MXGP of Europe, scheduled for the 8th September weekend, will take place in Lierop. Mr Daniele Rizzi, CEO Youthstream Organization, and Lierop’s representative Mr Tyny van Erp have announced a three-year agreement starting from September 2013.

Lierop received the award for the best organizer in 2008 as a sign of the great cooperation with Youthstream and the effort the organizer has always made to have an outstanding event. In fact, Lierop is one of the best and most experienced tracks in the calendar and this year a group of young people have joined the experienced crew that have always made of the Grand Prix a big success. Consequently, the combination of this young and new generation with the experience of the club leader Mr Tyny van Erp will make of this last Grand Prix of Europe the best ever season ending event.

Jeffrey Herlings joined Mr Rizzi and Mr Van Erp in the press conference and he mentioned that he is really happy to have the last MXGP of the season in Lierop, where he might give a big surprise to all his fans.
